Tour C – Dodge WC 51
This legendary vehicle offers the advantage of being able to legally transport 8 people (including the driver-guide). The paperwork of our Dodge WC 51 is in perfect order! Only our company can offer you this privilege… Sitting on the rear side benches, you will be in a true re-enactment and you need only to imagine the GI’s aboard this legendary means of transport. The characteristic smell of the tarpaulins and the classic sound of the engine means you will experience the same sensations as the soldiers who liberated France.
DODGE :
The Dodge WC series was a line of light military trucks produced by Dodge during World War II. The series included weapon racks, telephone rig trucks, ambulances, reconnaissance vehicles, mobile workshops and command cars. They were replaced after the war by the Dodge M series vehicles. WC was a Dodge model code: W for 1941 and C for the half-ton rating. The C code was retained for the 3/4 ton and 1/2 ton 6 × 6 Dodge. The Dodge Arms Carrier was the workhorse of the United States Army throughout World War II. Its reliability and robustness were unmatched. It was the American troops’ pickup truck and utility vehicle and was used in theatres of operation around the world. Its six-cylinder Chrysler engine is virtually indestructible. You will relive the GI experience aboard this legendary vehicle.
